In fact, only 20% of the human population has the “wanderlust gene” (DRD4-7R), but nearly five times that many – 91% – consider themselves to be curious. West Hotel and Festival of Dangerous Ideas
The Festival of Dangerous Ideas is all about discovery, and so to is West Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton. Through the brand’s Curiosity Survey we were able to better understand what people are looking for when they travel and how curiosity motivates the way travellers explore new destinations. Through this research we found that 73% of people say that travelling is their go-to outlet for expressing their curiosity, and that education is a huge motivator: more than 90% of people take trips to learn something new, and 79% consider learning something new while on holiday a priority. We look forward to taking the 2018 Festival of Dangerous Ideas journey, and helping visitors to the festival discover something new.
