What does this mean?
FODI’s speakers, artists and topics are selected carefully by the curatorial team and its advisors. They are guided by this curatorial framework:
- FODI exists to challenge conventional understanding and belief.
- FODI does not preach. Rarely does it censor.
- FODI champions what is possible (but not crazy).
- FODI is willing to offend (but not vilify).
- FODI will shock; but not sensationalise.
- FODI prefers to entertain and inspire.
- FODI’s platforms are open to those who have earned the right to speak by virtue of their expertise, courage, sincerity and candour. They represent diverse perspectives communicated in diverse forms.
